Merry Christmas

We added another ornament to our tree. This is our fourth Christmas as a married couple! And they said it wouldn’t last! 😊

We also added a small nativity scene to sit under the tree to remind us that Christmas is not just fun and gifts, but is primarily about our Savior who came to earth as a little baby. He grew and became the only perfect person who ever lived on the earth. He willingly gave himself as an unblemished lamb to be sacrificed for our sins. Then He rose from the dead to give us all the gift of resurrection. As we accept those gifts, given by his grace, we can be freed from death and return to live with our Father. In this life, accepting him as our Savior changes us so that even though we make mistakes, with His guidance we learn from them and become better.

Christmas Day here is cold, but no snow. Here is a view from earlier this month when we did have snow:

We found and cut a little tree from our land.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year, from our family to you and yours!
