Nobody Knows The Trouble I’ve Seen!
For the past several days, the server that hosts our blog has been under attack (DDOS attack for those who know about that), affecting not only our blog, but also everyone else’s websites that were using that server. Our hosting service suggested that since there was no way of knowing how long the attack would continue, we might want to open another account and migrate our blog to a new server. We did that, but ran into some technical issues with database and table names that took awhile to resolve. It looks like we are finally back up!
Yay!
While we were out, things have been moving along. Our excavator is planning to finish clearing and leveling the land in the next few days, even though there is still quite a bit of snow on it. He says that’s not a problem. We should be able to pour concrete slabs as soon as the ground thaws out (and by “we” we mean the concrete guys). We’re still living in a cabin at North Haven Campground (link goes to TripAdvisor; we have no financial relationship with the campground) which is very nice and comfortable (and warm!), but hoping to move back into the RV and work on building sometime in March, weather permitting. We also have to get some repairs on the RV before we can move into it.
