Well, not exactly. But in case you might think that the higher forms of culture enrichment aren’t available up here in the Idaho panhandle, we want to assure you that we are not all hicks and rednecks up here. Last night we attended the peak cultural event of the year: the celebrated Donkey Basketball Game! Yes, that’s right. People playing basketball while riding on donkeys. We know that’s hard to imagine, so we’ve embedded a YouTube video with a few clips from the game. The whole thing was actually a charitable event: the proceeds from ticket sales went to Boundary County Victim Services. It was as funny and awkward as you might imagine! The stars of the show were the Pooper Scoopers who diligently kept the floor in playing condition.
